Richard comes from a varied background and has a wealth of both Private and Public sector experience. He has spent the last five years in Local Government Revenues. Here he gained extensive experience of Local Authority working practices, Housing Benefit Regulations and Claims Processing and Council Tax and Business Rates administration.

He spent a number of years prior to that working in Quality Assurance in Hong Kong. He worked on a variety of different projects ranging from construction through to leisure and retail. He is a qualified QA Auditor.

Before setting off on his travels, he was also a Buyer for a large Chemical Company, providing a sound foundation in supply chain management, budgetary control and logistics.

Richard sees the step into the Supported Sector as a natural progression and has already worked on many successful projects covering Services Users Groups such as Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Abuse, Vulnerable Young People and the Homeless.
